Construction of Bridges

Construction of bridges being part of the road infrastructures has always been part of Cavicon’s Assignment to design and supervise the implementation of bridges ranging from Timber, reinforced Concrete to Steel casement and of various spans.

• Timber bridges

Timber bridges have been constructed to mainly facilitate low traffic in unpaved roads with short
spans of less than 4m.

• Concrete Deck Bridges

Concrete bridges suit both paved and unpaved roads and can be constructed to any span with some
of them constructed frome piles.

• Steel casement and Deck Bridges

Steel framed   and  casement bridges  are  vital  for  road  construction with  vast  spans.
